Ascutney Outdoors Summer Solstice Festival

June 22

We are excited to announce plans for our summer Solstice Festival on June 22nd.   It will be a fun event with lots of outdoor recreation and family events including:

  • Mountain biking, hiking and trail running events;
  • Bike, runner and yoga clinics;
  • Nature and ecology offerings from Vermont Institute of Natural Science and National Park Service professionals; and,
  • Entertainment and activities specifically geared for kids and their families;
  • Awesome live music throughout much of the day.

The event is being co-sponsored by Ascutney Outdoors and Sport Trails of the Ascutney Basin and proceeds will support and maintain our wonderful trails and facilities.  To learn more, please click the schedule of events to find the complete list of the day’s activities. You also might enjoy a video overview of the event at the bottom of this page.

We are fortunate to be partnering with the Brownsville Butcher & Pantry who will offer amazing local meats and vegetables prepared on an open grill as our evening meal and Harpoon Brewery for local beers and cider.   Our friends the Moonlighters will serve burgers and sides during the day.
